Our Insurance Policy
Neutral Ground Counseling Group, LLC does not accept insurance with the exception of Humana Military (TRICARE) for therapist Sally Harney, Ph.D.
Why don’t you accept insurance?
If we accepted insurance, your insurance would dictate our work together. We would be limited in the scope of our work, number of sessions we could provide you, and your progress would be dictated to us by them. While we know using your insurance seems much easier and convenient, we feel your mental health and your progress need to be determined by you and your therapist, not your insurance company.
We are considered an out-of-network provider.
We do not submit insurance claims for our clients. We provide monthly statements to clients to submit to their healthcare insurance providers for out-of-network reimbursement according to the provisions in their plan. By submitting the reimbursement forms to insurance companies, clients can significantly reduce their overall out-of-pocket costs. Please consult your insurance company for reimbursement policy information.
Note: Insurance companies require a DSM-V diagnosis.
